New Working Group Member: Peggy Maes

CELL welcomes Peggy Maes as the newest member of its Working Group. Peggy will advise and work together will CELL on projects and outreach related to divisive stereotypes and discrimination in the classroom and divisive stereotypes and disability. Peggy will also support CELL in engaging teachers and learners.

New Working Group Member: Cristina Mancigotti

CELL welcomes Cristina Mancigotti as the newest member of its Working Group. Cristina will advise and work together with CELL on research, advocacy and projects related to human rights education, migration and refugees, and youth engagement, as well as support CELL in reaching out to and engaging civil society organizations and grassroots youth initiatives.

New Working Group Member: Frank Ubachs

CELL welcomes Frank Ubachs as the newest member of its Working Group. Frank will advise and work together with CELL on research and projects related to human rights education, migration, issues of conflict and identity, and youth extremism, as well as support CELL in reaching out to and engaging policy-makers, research institutions, and public policy organizations.

Fons Coomans attends UNESCO Chairs Meeting

CELL Working Group Member Prof. Fons Coomans, on 21-22 June 2017, attended a meeting of UNESCO Chairs at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris. The meeting brought together Chair holders who work on human rights, migration and urban inclusion. The purpose of the meeting was to discuss the role of cities and local governments in fostering the urban inclusion of migrants by using a human rights-based approach.

New Working Group Member: Mark Routs

CELL welcomes Mark Routs as the newest member of its Working Group. Mark will advise CELL on developing creative and high-impact audiovisual content, targeting diverse audiences, including academics, policy-makers, and the public, to name a few.
