Cristina Mancigotti is a Project Coordinator and Researcher working on evidence-based policy research methods at the United Nations University – Maastricht Economic and Social Research Institute on Innovation and Technology and Maastricht University Graduate School of Governance (UNU-MERIT/MGSoG). She holds an MSc in Public Policy and Human Development from UNU-MERIT/MGSoG, with a specialization in Migration Studies. Her Master's thesis, examining the success and impact of non-formal education programs for refugees in Turkey, was awarded the DEMOS grant 2017. Cristina has worked with the Council of Europe and numerous civil society organisations across Europe on the topic of youth engagement and advocacy, hate speech and human rights education. She also worked at the European Institute of Innovation and Technology, and for a social enterprise focused on education and renewable energies. Cristina is a board member of the Youth Peace Ambassadors Network (YPAN).
