Seminar at the 2018 Northeast Student PubCon

On the 16th of March 2018, Katherine Kominis, CELL Advisory Board Member and Assistant Director for Rare Books at Boston University’s Howard Gotlieb Archival Research Center, gave a seminar on Rare Book Librarianship. The seminar was part of the 2018 Northeast Student PubCon, a conference organized by and for students on a wide range of topics related to the world of publishing. Katherine has served as a rare book curator for several decades, and is advocating this career for future librarians.

The conference was hosted by Boston University and was organized jointly by students from Boston University, Dartmouth College, and Tufts University, with sponsorship from the BU Editorial Institute, the BU BookLab, and the Arts & Sciences Core Curriculum.
